Businesses host their own events and activities throughout the year.  There’s always something happening on Olde Main Street - from art classes to wine tasting events, from live music and entertainment to health fairs, from poetry readings to park programs – it’s all here!

The Kiddie Karnival Parade is held on the second Monday of August.  The marketing committee initiated the beverage give-away a few years ago.  Approximately 1000 children gather at 1 p.m. at Whitney Park, location of the parade kick-off to put final preparations on their floats.  The parade steps off at 2 p.m.  The neighborhood parade consists of 35 decorated floats representing each city park playground. 

Members of the Olde Main Street marketing committee participate in the Green Bay Kiddie Parade by coordinating the refreshments and serving the hundreds of children as they wait for the parade to begin.  It’s a lot of fun and a great way for our businesses and the community to support the children of the Green Bay neighborhoods.  The marketing committee recognizes: Kay Distributing for the free Snapple product and XS (business ice sponsor).
